Here comes the much awaited HBL PSL 2020 Schedule as another season of Pakistan Super League approaches. This time PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) has got a huge news for Pakistani cricket fans as all 34 matches of the entire season will be played in country.
It is noted that in last four seasons most of the matches were played in U.AE.
PSL 2019 was won by Quetta Gladiators who faced Peshawar Zalmi in final.
HBL PSL 2020 Schedule
The fifth edition of PSL 2020 will kick-start on February 20 with opening match between Karachi King and Peshawar Zalmi at National Stadium Karachi. Qualifier match will be played in Karachi while eliminators and finals will be played in Lahore. This year two more Pakistani cities have been added to the venue of PSL and these include Multan and Rawalpindi. As per schedule Multan will host the matches of Multan Sultans.
Till, it is not much known who will perform at the opening ceremony of PSL 2020. But fans on social media are urging PCB to invite famous K-POP band BTS to tour Pakistan.
The Success of Pakistan Super League
PSL 2020 is the 5th season of Pakistan Super League. Till now the event has been a huge success in term of viewership on TV networks. Players from the countries like England, Australia, Bangladesh, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Zimbawe and many other cricket loving nations have applied to be a part of the tournament. A total of six teams including Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators are part of the league.
Well, PSL 2020 schedule is proving more exciting for fans as it is bringing the international cricket to Pakistan. Stadium in different cities of Pakistan that once roared with the enthusiastic fans will be back in action.
The final of PSL 2020 will take place on Sunday, 22 March in Lahore.
