The world’s renowned automobile company, Honda is working on the production of its latest project ‘11th Gen Civic’. Recently, it released the car’s first official look, which means the car is finally complete in its production form. Also, the latest model’s prototype was disclosed earlier, which was a bit different than the original one. Lastly, the new Honda Civic Sedan is a superior and an upgraded version of 10th generation model X.
What Do We Know About the 11th Gen Civic?
Reportedly, Honda Civic 11th generation will have two versions in terms of engine power. A 2.0-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine and a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder one, which will provide a power boost to the car and make it a more powerful vehicle. Aside from the 9-speed automatic transmission, the 6-speed manual transmission will also be another variant that will only be reserved for the Type-R and Si versions. The interior of the 2022 Honda Civic quite similar to the previous model, Civic 2019 but with a few changes.
Apparently, the company is into the looks of the car; thus, gave the newest model a sportier and flashier look along with the aerodynamical body structure. Moreover, the rest and complete information about the upcoming and latest civic-series car will be disclosed by Honda on April 28, 2021.
Prototype Vs Production Version
When the company launched a prototype of Honda’s 11th gen civic, the brand lovers went crazy over it due to its ultra-smart design and features. It had a different paint job, bigger rims size, and a few other features that made the car a masterpiece. The production-ready vehicle, on the other hand, has smaller and differently designed rims and a less glossy paint job than the concept. All in all, the newest imminent machine also an appreciable creation by Honda automobile company.
The new civic is among many anticipated cars since the firm specializes in designing and building modern and smart vehicles. Besides this current project, the firm has given the world many fine automobiles that can be considered as the cars of the era. Keeping the company’s image in view, many Honda lovers opined on social media that the new arrival should also be a hybrid car to make it a nature-friendly vehicle. The company hasn’t disclosed if there is going to be a Hybrid variant of Civic 2022.
The base cost of the 11th Gen Civic will reportedly be $22,245, which will be slightly higher than the 2019 version Honda Civic X. Upon conversion, the price should be 3.4 million in PKR, however, the inclusion of tax rates on motorcars will raise it significantly.
According to the official website of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), the Duty and Taxes in USD or equivalent amount for 1600CC to 1800CC cars are 27,940 USD. Therefore, the addition of tax in the base cost will make the car worth $50,185 which will be equivalent to approximately 7.6 million PKR.
