Arjun Kapoor Gets Trolled For His Role In Panipat

The Trailer for the movie Panipat is out, and people can’t stop trolling Arjun Kapoor for his for the misfit role he has played.

What Is The Backdrop Of Panipat

Panipat is considered to be a strategic trade route and also the place where some of the most critical and historically significant battles in sub-continent have been fought. The city is sometimes referred to as “City of Weavers” and “Textile City.” According to historians three major battles fought in Panipat had done a lot to determine the geoploitical structure of subcontinent for centuries to come.

The movie is based on the third battle that took place there between the Ahmad Shah Durrani played and the Marathas under the leadership of Sadashiv Rao Bhau in the year 1761. The battle is considered to be one-off the bloodiest battle that took place there and holds the record for the largest number of people killed in a single day.

Fans Reaction on Panipat Trailer

In the movie, the Sanjay Dutt plays the role of Ahmed Sha Durani, and Arjun Kapoor plays the role of Sadashiv Rao with Kriti Sanon playing the role of his wife. Despite being an awesome actor, the expressions of Arjun seem to be the same if not similar in all the roles he has undertaken.

The characters in the movie have a de ja Vu type of a feeling as they resembled the characters of Padmavati and Baji Rao Mastani in which the actors chosen for the respective role had done a much better job.

Wrong Casting

After watching the Trailer, it seems Kapoor appears to be a complete miss fit for the role he has undertaken as he doesn’t tick all the right boxes and appears to be dull, but the rest are spot on.

Some have already declared the movie to be the biggest flop of the year just because of Arjun Kapoor.
