Bappi Lahiri was a famous music composer of India who created many hit songs. He recently passed away at CritiCare hospital, Mumbai at the age of 69. The doctors said that he was having multiple health issues due to which he was hospitalized for more than a month. On Monday, the late Bappi Da was discharged but his health deteriorated on Tuesday as he was once again admitted to hospital. The Bollywood celebrities and Indian politicians are paying their respects and condolences on the loss.
Death Cause of Bappi Lahiri
According to Dr. Deepak Namjoshi, the director of CritiCare Hospital, Bappi Lahiri died of obstructive sleep apnea that caused momentary respiratory blockage before midnight. He was already having multiple health problems and there was also an age factor involved in his poor health. Before he took his last breath on Tuesday, Lahiri’s family called the doctor who visited the house and suggested taking the music composer immediately to the hospital as his illness was worsening at the moment, according to media reports.
Previously in September, people were fussing about his bad health and that he had lost his voice due to medical issues. However, the singer stated that he was unhappy to hear the rumors as he had not lost his melodious vocals.

Bappi Lahiri has been a star since 1971 after his first composition came out. He composed for Nanha Shikari, a 1973 musical drama movie. After that, he composed countless songs and sang several for Bollywood celebrities. His fans started calling him the disco king since he practically made the genre a trend in India.
