According to the media reports Cake, a film which was directed by Asim Ali is nominated for Oscars. Many of the people are unaware of the fact that Cake is the production of Pakistan’s New Minister of the state, Zulfi Bukhari.

Zulfi Bukhari’s Background
Sayed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari, son of Wajid Bukhari is a billionaire and a business typhoon in London. He is a very close friend of PM Imran Khan. He has been there as a trusty of Shaukat Khanum from several years as well. Zulfi Bukhari has been there when Imran Khan got married to Bushra Manika and he has been there as a PTI supported as well. Zulfi Bukhari has many offshore companies yet he claims that he is not answerable to NAB because he is not a Pakistani citizen.

Cake and Zulfi Bukhari
Cake was a film released in 2018 and it is one of the best films ever produced in Pakistan. This film is produced by Zulfi Bukhari thus now it has been selected for Oscars by the cabinet which includes, Sharmeen Obaid, Faisal Quraishi, Ali Sethi and many other prominent personalities of Pakistan entertainment industry. PM Imran Khan praised this film in his tweet.

Whereas, Reham Khan seems a little depressed regarding the nomination of this film in Oscars and the addition of Zulfi Bukhari in Cabinet. Her hatred was seen in the sarcastic tweet by her!

There are many people who are supporting this decision of Imran Khan. Most of them have worked with Zulfi in the film also. These all supporters are standing with him and appreciate his presence in the Cabinet.

Critiques Never Fall Behind
Where half of the industry is praising this decision by Imran Khan, the other half is not happy and want Zulfi Bukhari to give answers of the statements which he, himself have presented. Many journalists have joined the debate on twitter and they have started conspiring against PM Imran Khan’s decision.

Now, what will be Imran Khan’s stance regarding this dispute? Will our Prime Minister choose friendship over responsibility? Or there is a positive intention behind this step of including overseas Pakistani in Cabinet? Is Bukhari even a Pakistani? So much confusion is going on right now and we want answers from our government.
Moreover, all the Pakistani media is happy for Cake got nominated for Oscars. One more positive step towards Naya Pakistan.
