Why Question Papers Get Leaked in Pakistan?
There is just not one thing responsible for these CSS paper leaks. This scandal speaks volumes about the dangerous culture of adopting shortcuts to get things in life. CSS exam papers have not been leaked for the first time in Pakistan.
Controversies and corruption related scandals have surrounded Pakistan’s education system in the past. There can be many reasons because of which these CSS questions got leaked. One of the leading causes of this lack of confidentiality has been the inability of the previous governments to give exemplary punishments to people responsible for such corrupt practices.
Corruption is another important factor affecting every other government department including education. The government needs to make an example of the people who are responsible for these leaks. Similarly, the government must also introduce measures to improve confidentiality of such papers. It is high time Pakistan needs to seriously think about getting rid of corruption to help curb such malpractices. If the authorities take no action against the culprits, the people responsible for leaking exam papers will keep on promoting the ideology that you do not have to work hard to pass the exams. All you need to do is pay the money and know about the exam questions in advance.
