CD Projekt’s new game Cyberpunk 2077 was released on 10th December 2077 for Sony PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will get in 2021. Meanwhile, the players who were able to play the game early came across an eccentric Easter egg. They spotted a non-playable character (NPC) who had an uncanny resemblance to Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX.
Later it was revealed it was not Musk after all. Fans of Musk and the Cyberpunk genre hoped that Musk would appear in this game because it was the first title that included an immersive cyberpunk world. It one of the most hyped up and awaited games during the year 2020. It sold more than 8 million copies before the official release but received a string of bad reviews from players and critics. Musk also shared his disappointment with the game and a really inappropriate glitch.
Elon Musk Trolls Cyberpunk 2077 On Twitter
The eccentric billionaire is a huge fan of the cyberpunk genre. He even launched a cyber-truck inspired by this genre. He was probably excited to finally play a first-person perspective game based on the same world that he likes. The developers apologized in a Twitter post but Musk showed no mercy. He said that the game was not what he expected so he got back at the developers in a sarcastic tone. Moreover, he shared a funny meme that pointed at a particular bug many players found.

Why This Meme?
Musk was never known for displaying maturity in front of the masses. Although the game had many bugs due to early release, this one caught the eyes of many on social media. When some players accessed the character customization screen, they noted that there was a familiar shape dangling from between the legs of the main character, like the finger in Musk’s meme.
The game allows players to not only customize their amour and weapons but also genitalia. A player can choose to have either male or female organs and customize their sizes as well. This feature is causing problems for some players because their private organs were going rouge. Due to over the top sexual content and nudity, the game is rated 18+.
How Developers Will Keep It In Their Pants
With the addition of Keanu Reeves playing a character called Johnny Silverhand through voice acting and motion capture, this video game was expected to be the hottest this year. But now the developer, CD Projekt confirmed that it would be providing refunds to the unhappy players. A budgeted mobile game Genshin Impact received more admirers than this huge title.
Developers promised to fix the game problems with the patches coming up in January and February next year. Apart from the technical faults, the game might be fun as Elon Musk seems to still enjoy it
The studio claimed to fix the overall player experience and assured that the jokes and memes will eventually end with all the bugs.
