Disney Shows leaving Netflix in February – March 2019

Sad news for Netflix users as some of the fan favorite Disney shows will be leaving Netflix soon after the contract between both the entertainment-companies comes to an end. Shows leaving Netflix include Girl Meets World: Seasons 1-3 and movies like The Beauty and the Beast

 Let’s Have a Look at Shows Leaving Netflix

Well, there are many entertaining movies and dramas that folks wouldn’t be able to watch any longer on Netflix.

 The Beauty and the Beast

Amongst the shows leaving Netflix, is our favorite childhood movie the beauty and the beast remake released in 2017. The film started streaming on Netflix on September 19, 2017, after a deal between Netflix and Disney.

 According to the contract, Netflix gained the right to stream the movie for 18 months and is bound to leave this March. The remake starring Emma Watson was well received. The actress rose to stardom through the Harry Potter series in which she played the unforgettable role of Harmony.

Disney’s Girl Meets World: Seasons 1-3

Other Disney shows leaving Netflix is the Girl Meets World: Seasons 1-3. The show is bound to leave on 20 February 2019. It was an extension of the hit Disney show Boy Meets World which was centered on the day to day life of a boy and the major events happening then.

 The show is based on the same concept but centers on significant events that happen in a girl’s life from birth till teenage and shows how the once little boy meets world now all grownup reacts to adulthood

On the bright side not all Disney shows are leaving this February. Fans would still be able to watch following stuff.

  2. Cars 3
  3. Coco
  4. A Wrinkle in Time
  5. The Incredible 2

Marvel Movies 

Not only Disney shows are leaving Netflix. In fact, some of the Marvel shows will also meet the same fate. Yes that’s right fans wouldn’t be able to see some of the iconic Marvel superheroes on Marvel any more.

  3. Avengers: Infinity War
  4. Ant-Man and the Wasp

Amongst the soon to be departed production is the star war series

 Will the Elapsing of the Deal Effect Canada

Yes, the deal made was for both the US and Canada. The ending of the contract will prevent the viewers in both Canada and the US from watching their favorite show after the 18 months have passed. Disney has shown no sign of renewing the contract as it intends to launch its online platform to stream its shows and movies.
