Twice Heavy than Delta IV Heavy
Falcon heavy is twice heavier than Delta IV heavy, which is the next heavier rocket. Falcon Heavy can carry 64 tons of payload to the Earth’s lowest orbit while Delta IV can take the 29 tons of payload to the same distance. In this way, SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy is the most powerful rocket in the world, launched by a commercial company.

Falcon Heavy carried Elon Musk’s red Tesla roadster as payload. The car had a mannequin on the driving seat. Interestingly, the car was set for a trajectory around the sun to enter into the Mars’ orbit ultimately. But according to Elon Musk’s tweet, the car is headed for as far as the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. Till now, it is not clear whether Tesla Roadster will hit the Mars’ orbit and not collide with any other space object.
A Successful Launch of Super Heavy-lift Launch Vehicle
Overall, Falcon Heavy has proved itself a successful launch. It consisted of three rockets strapped together, along with a payload of Tesla Roadster. According to reports, two of the rockets successfully landed on landing pads, while the core rocket missed its target and got destroyed in the sea.
