Actors of popular TV Show Diriliş: Ertuğrul, Esra Bilgic, and Engin Altan Düzyatan have officially become brand ambassadors in Pakistan for many corporate ventures. Both actors are an on-screen couple in the show which has turned Pakistani drama fans into fanatics.
The relation of Pakistani fans with Esra and Altan is not limited to an admiration of the actors’ art and talent. Particularly, in case of Esra Bilgic Pakistani men consider it their right to police her about her personal lifestyle, since they want to see her in real life as a living depiction of Halime Sultan.
Such behavior is evident from the way desi men try to police Esra by commenting under her pictures. Esra Bilgic is also working in multiple projects in Pakistan this year something which she appears to be more concerned Engin has also joined his co-star in some capacity but has not arrived Pakistan yet.

Esra has been endorsing telecom network Jazz and smartphone manufacturer Qmobile while Engin recently became a brand ambassador for a housing society named Blue World City. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between the parties.
Reportedly, Engin is collaborating with this housing society in Islamabad to inaugurate a mosque. He has been issued a visa and will arrive in Pakistan during this month. He was already bonding with various Pakistani celebrities over video calls and even granted 3 wishes for Make-A-Wish foundation.
Esra on the other hand has been faster than her on-screen counterpart. She has performed in an advertisement for Qmobile which received 1 Million views on YouTube.
She also did few commercials for Jazz. One of them involved a food tasting session in which they tortured the Turkish actress with extremely spicy food of Pakistan. However, she was eventually able to choose her best Pakistani dish
Cellular network has chosen the likes of Katrina Kaif, Kareen Kapoor, and Mahira Khan as brand ambassador in the past. Esra is also in talks with becoming a brand ambassador for PSL franchise, Peshawar Zalmi. After her tiring work, she may have posted some relaxing pictures which further agitated this disorderly nation.
Befitting Response To Bizarre Criticism
Well, Esra while endorsing brands in Pakistan is now not tolerating any indecent comments from Pakistani men who think it their duty to preach women. Just recently, she clapped back at a follower and asked him to unfollow her if she had any issues with her lifestyle.
She gave an appropriate response to all those who have a problem with her dressing, yet they follow her only to throw discouraging comments.
She often keeps quite on the criticism on her bold photos but after working in Pakistan she might have understood what kind of fans actually like her and who are there to just troll. Previously her real supporters came to confront the trolls who posted silly comments under her gorgeous photo.
Is Engin Going to Inaugurate Mosque in An Illegal Housing Society?
Interestingly, the housing society which is Blue Wolrd Authority that Engin Altan is going to endorse has been reportedly considered illegal by Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA).
In August 2018, RDA issued a notice to the sponsors to stop illegal advertising of an illegal housing scheme.
Next month in September 2018, RDA demolished the partially constructed gate and reported some resistance from the illegal housing scheme
In 2019, RDA canceled development orders for 4 societies included this one.
It is not clear if the scheme’s status has changed from illegal to legal but Engin can definitely face some criticism over associating with controversial housing project. He and his character is being promoted as the identity of this society (probably also to change the current status of the scheme). Owners of the scheme aimed to use Ertugul’s fame in order to attract investors for developing their society.
