Latest crush of Pakistanis, Esra Bilgic, has planned to soon give good news to her fans. Apparently there is going to be some kind of partnership between the actress and PSL franchise, Peshawar Zalmi. Esra tweeted to inform the cricket team and its chairman, Javed Afridi.
Afridi thanked her by referring to her character’s name in Turkish epic drama Dirilis: Ertugrul in which she played a fearless warrior named Halime Sultan. The show aired from 2014 – 2019 in Turkey, but on PM Imran Khan’s recommendation, the show started airing in Pakistan in 2020 and became an instant success among the masses. This drama depicts the life of Oghuz Turks and their struggle to keep Islam alive in the region.
Speculation About Relationship Between Esra Bilgic And Peshawar Zalmi
The chairman of Zalmi tweeted earlier this month about having Ertugrul Ghazi as a Brand Ambassador for the team. It was enough to thrill the audience, who started imagining their favourite characters from the series as brand ambassadors for their favorite teams.
The chairman also teased about offering something to Esra.
Undoubtedly, the beloved actress was the most popular desire among Ertugrul fans in Pakistan. It is likely that Esra Bilgic and Peshawar Zalmi might unite for some mutual prospect in the near future. It seems that cricket journalists would also love to work with Zalmi after Esra actually becomes the brand ambassador.
Esra Bilgic Working With Pakistani Brands
In an exclusive interview, Esra Bilgic said that she would be endorsing three Pakistani brands. She did not disclose the name of the brands for the sake of surprise. With her recent tweet addressed to Peshawar Zalmi, it is possible that Esra Bilgic can become another face of one of the most dominating PSL teams in Pakistan.
A Peshawar Zalmi player, Wahab Riaz, whose bowling-spell was the key reason for the team’s victory in PSL 2 final, expressed his own excitement in a reply. Seems like his eyes popped out.
Esra has even posted in urdu to announce that she is not affiliated with any international organization, therefore parties interested in collaboration can contact her manager. As Urdu is a national language of Pakistan so most likely this message is for Pakistani organizers.
