The 2-minute trailer of Marvel’s Eternals took the fans by a number of surprises. First of all, it introduces some new heroes from the familiar lore, and secondly, it has assembled a heavy cast to portray those heroes. The Eternals cast include many big names like Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kit Harington, and Gemma Chan. Two legendary heroines of Hollywood Jolie and Hayek have appeared together for the first time in any movie.
According to the comics, the Eternals are a fictional race of superpowered aliens defending the earth against the deviants, who intended to harm humankind. However, they went AWOL and left the world to get snapped by one of their cousins Thanos.
The Eternals Cast and Crew
Eternals Cast include Angelina Jolie as Thena, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, and Kit Harington as human character Dane Whitman, who eventually becomes Black Knight in the comics.
The film’s director is Chloe Zhao, who recently won Oscars and Golden Globe Awards for her 2020 American Drama, Nomadland.

It revealed a new generation of superheroes who were dormant for centuries while all hell broke loose on the planet. It seemed that the Eternals were chilling out and letting Avengers do the heavy lifting as many fans of the franchise claimed.
Story Continues After Avengers: Endgame
Social media fans have loved how Marvel picks up after Avengers: Endgame, the final entry in the 2012 saga that made viewers very emotional. There was another thing that they did not like was the silence of Eternals when Avengers were getting wrecked by the evil force, Thanos.
The infinity war resulted in heavy losses for the good side including Tony Stark, the Iron Man. According to fans’ theory, Eternals could have prevented that war from happening, which is why they made many memes targeted at the Eternals.
