How to Get Rid of Black Toenail Fungus

Black toenail fungus or onychomycosis is a typical kind of fungal infection that many people suffer from.   • Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and warm water in a tub.
  • Soak your feet in the tub for almost 15 minutes and rinse the affected toenail.
  • Scrub the toenail so gently.
  • Repeat the process twice a day for few weeks.

Tip: For quick results mix up the apple cider vinegar with rice flour and apply the mixture to toenail affected with black fungus.

Use Hydrogen Peroxide to Cure Black Toenail Fungus

Due to its antiseptic and antifungal properties, Hydrogen Peroxide is also famous for removing black mold from walls, permanently. Those who are suffering from black toenail fungus can use the hydrogen peroxide in the following manner to get away with the problem.

  1. Prepare a mixture that contains Hydrogen Peroxide and water in equal proportions.
  2. Apply the mixture with cotton and soak your feet for at least 20 minutes.
  3. Gently scrub the area, where you have applied the Hydrogen Peroxide.
  4. Dry the toenail with a soft cloth.
  5. Repeat the process twice a day for few weeks.

Use of Lavender Oil

An easy to use home remedy for curing black toenail fungus is the use of Lavender oil. Here is how to apply it on the affected area.

  1. Soak cotton into lavender oil.
  2. Wrap the cotton ball around affected area with the help of a bandage.
  3. Repeat the process twice or thrice a day for few weeks and see the results.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is another natural cure for black toenail fungus due to antimicrobial properties. Timely use of pure and organic coconut oil can help to prevent the spread of infection.

Just use the coconut oil to cure black toenail fungus in following way.

  1. Apply coconut oil on the toe.
  2. Gently massage it for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Leave the oil to dry naturally.

Apart from solutions mentioned above, one can also use lemon juice and Oregano oil to treat the toenail fungus.
