A violent shooting left four people dead including the gunman and many injured at an annual food festival called the Gilroy Garlic Festival in Northern California. The shooting victims also include several children. The incident is making people demand stricter gun control laws.

Tragedy struck at this year’s Gilroy Garlic Festival when reportedly two gunmen opened fire at a group of attendees on Sunday resulting in the death of 4 and injuring 15. According to the police, it was on the third day of the festival when the gunmen crept through an opening in one of the fences and evaded all security measures. Once they opened fire, the police acted swiftly and engaged them; this resulted in the death of one shooter.
