At an event in Paris Huawei has confirmed that the release of Huawei P40 will be in March Confirmation has reportedly come directly from Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Business Group, at the company’s online event.
This is no surprise, since Huawei has a tradition of releasing two main smart phones every year from the Mate and P-series which usually launch six month apart. Further both series usually come in three tastes: budget friendly, middle-tier and high end.
Huawei P40 will be a 5G mobile
Huawei always offered exceptional mobile phones with excellent specs to provide outstanding performance. There has been many rumors and leaks that paint the pretty clear picture of new P40 series. It has been expected that P40 has the 5G technology, with innovative feature and better than ever camera. It is sure to be a great handset with the most inspiring design of the body that can attract buyers in a first look.
Operating System of Huawei P40
There has been rumorsthat Huawei will run its own flagship Harmony OS in P40 series rather than Android. After the ban on Huawei by America the full version of Google’s operating system was no longer an option under recent US trade sanctions. Despite of US ban, Huawei has strengthn its base in China and their smart phones are doing reasonably better than ever. The smartphone giant is investing huge amount on its own apps to counter Play Store.
Huawei P40 specs
Rumors have suggested that the P40 series have a 10x optical zoom which is a double of P30 series. P40 series is sure to be a great handset the President of Public Affairs and Communications Department, Western Europe, Huawei Technologies Kevin Liu is pointing toward some of its exceptional feature through the video on twitter.
It’s tough to imagine that Huawei is going to reinvent the design the design the P40 series. As it is hoping, that it comes out with four-camera setup, punch-hole selfie cam and a high-resolution screen.
Huawei always offer exceptional battery timing and fast charging. So, it is expected that the new P40 series will have better battery timing than as it comes in P30 series.
The main and powerful feature of P40 is a 6.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and it is expected it comes out with Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood is an octa-core Kirin 990 chipset and the device comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage space.
