Who Are 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards Nominees for Best Song?

The iHeartRadio music awards are amongst the year’s most awaited event. Now in its sixth-year, the award features some of the music industry’s top performers who rule the hearts and minds of people all over the world.

The 2019 iHeartRadio music awards will be held at Los Angela’s Microsoft Theater on March 14. A lot of the stars this year have received multiple nominations. Here are some of the nominees for the best song of the year  

Girls Like You- Maroon 5 featuring Cardi B

Who on earth hasn’t heard this song? The song was composed for their sixth studio album Red Pill Blues (2017). A second version featuring cardi B was later released by 222 Records and Interscope Records as the album’s third single on May 30, 2018.

The song features a wide array of prominent women like Ellen DeGeneres and Sarah Silverman. This song topped charts in 11 countries.

Maroon 5 Super Bowl halftime performance was harshly trolled on social media for being too boring.

God’s Plan – Drake

This is another song that deserved to be nominated as the best song of the year. God’s plans by Drake that shows him helping out people by doing different acts of charity and bring joy and happiness on the faces of people. But Drake remained in news more for his weird Kiki Challenge and relationship rumors with Bollywood actress Atiya Shetty more than his songs.

Perfect – Ed Sheeran​

Another wonderful song by the English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran from his third studio album

is strong contender for 2019 iHeartRadio music awards for best song of the year. The song features two childhood friend who realize their love for each other and can’t live without each other.

Perfect topped Christmas top ten charts in December 2017 and eventually topped charts in both the UK and USA.

Better Now – Post Malone

This rap is written by Post Malone Billy Walsh, Louis Bell, and Frank Dukes. It managed to secure a position in the top 10 globally and topped charts in Norway.

The Middle – Zedd, Maren Morris, Grey​

The Middle is a collaboration between Russian and German record producer, American country music singer Maren Morris and American musical duo Grey.  Sarah Aarons, Zedd, Grey, and The Monsters and the Strangerz have written the lyrics.

It has reached the top ten position in the UK, USA, and other countries.
