Who Is Imran Khan’s Third Wife Bushra Maneka

PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) has confirmed the third marriage of Imran Khan, with his spiritual healer Bushra Maneka, ending the month’s long speculations. Muftee Saeed, who is also the member of PTI’s central executive committee read the Nikkah. Imran Khan’s Third Wife Bushra Maneka is in her late 40s and reportedly got the divorce from her husband Khawar Maneka in July 2017.

According to PTI official account on Twitter, the couple tied a knot on February 18, 2018, around 8 pm. One month before a journalist Umer Cheema had claimed in his story that Imran Khan had married Bushra Maneka on January 1, 2018.

Who is Imran Khan’s third wife Bushra Maneka, is not a secret anymore. A lot has been said about her since the reports about their marriage in January 2018 emerged. Bushra Maneka who is also known as Pinki Peer is a respected spiritual personality from Pakpattan. She is said to be an active follower of the Sufi saint Khwaja Ghulam Fareed whose tomb is in Pakpattan.

She is the ex-wife of Khawar Maneka who is a Customs officer and son of the ex-federal minister Ghulam Fareed Maneka.

Reports suggest that Bushra Maneka is the mother of two daughters and three sons. Her elder sons are pursuing higher education in foreign countries after completing their graduation. And, her daughter is married to the grandson of Atta Maneka, a former MPA.

Imran Khan’s third wife Bushra Maneka in her role as a spiritual leader had made many predictions about chairman PTI. She predicted that Panama case that resulted in Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification would turn out in favor of Imran Khan. She also advised him to spend some time in hilly areas, so he went to Nathia Gali, Chitral and Sawat in summer of 2017.

Media reports also suggest that Imran Khan’s third wife Bushra Maneka assured him that if he marries her, then he will achieve success and become the Prime Minister. Earlier, in January when the rumors surfaced about the marriage Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad granted bail to Imran Khan.

Well, the results of 2018 elections will reveal if following the spiritual path for political gains becomes successful enough or not.

Imran Khan, the captain of the world cup winning team, earned a reputation as Ladies’ Man and Playboy during his cricketing career. He married for the first time with Jemima Goldsmith in 1995; a marriage that ended in divorce in 2004. His second marriage, with a TV anchor Reham Khan in 2015, also ended after a brief period of 10 months. Imran Khan’s marriages along with his sit-ins against the government have contributed enough to make him part of the headlines.
