In his message to the fans, the Life of the Pie actor said, “Little had I known that my search for rare stories would make me find a rare disease. I have never given up and always fought for my choices and always will”

Soon, after the Irrfan Khan shared the about his suffering from a rare diagnosis, the news went viral across digital and electronic media channels.
Now, the actor has finally revealed that his rare disease has come out to be NeuroEdocrine Tumor that not only affects the brain but other parts of the body as well.

Expressing about his disease, he said, “The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about.
“Learning that I have been diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine Tumour has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to the place of hope.”
