Pakistani Film Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 Does Record Business At Box Office

Here comes the blow of fresh air as another Pakistani film manages to make a positive impact on box office. Humayoun Saeed and Fahad Mustafa starrer, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 has reportedly collected more than 25 crores within five days of its release. If reports are to be believed, then it is a massive success for a Pakistani film.

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 Box Office Business

Recently, it was Pakistani movie Teefa in Trouble that shattered the box office records by making the first film with a non-holiday opening to collect 2.5 crores. This time, it is Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 which has made more than three crores at the box office on the first day of its release. According to media reports, the film collected 20 crores all over the world within four days. And, according to the recent figures shared by the film’s cast, it has made more than 25 crores within five days of release.

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2’s Success

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2’s prequel that hit the cinemas in 2015 had made more than 45 crores. The film remained top in the list of highest grossing movies in Pakistan until Punjab Nahi Jaungi became the first Pakistani film to gross 50 crores all over the world.

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 is a comedy film and promises a full-time entertainment to viewers. The movie has also made some new contribution to Pakistani music. It is directed by Nadeem Baig and written by famous anchor and comedy writer Vasey Chaudhary. It casts Humayoun Saeed, Fahad Mustafa, Kubra Khan, Mawra Hocane, Ahmed Ali Butt, Vasey Chauhdry and Sarwat Gilani in lead roles.

Soon after the trailer was released everyone praised the film which seemed more funny and hilarious than its prequel Jaawni Phir Nahi Ani. The sequel also has some fresh faces in the form of Fahad Mustafa, Kubra Khan, and Humayun Saeed.

A Good Omen for Pakistani Cinema

Currently, Pakistani cinema is struggling for its revival. Producers and directors are experimenting with new genres and ideas. A look at the recent Pakistani films which are being played in cinemas shows that filmmakers are bringing a mix of approaches to silver screens. These include the movie like Parwaz Hai Junoon that shows the lives of fighter pilots. Teefa in Trouble, an action comedy, Load Wedding a film that successfully highlights a social issue of dowry and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 which a complete package for family entertainment. The success of these films is a positive sign for the rise of Pakistani film industry.
