Fans’ Reaction to Joaquin Phoenix Speech

Critics may argue about things that were wrong with Joker like it’s being politically incorrect but they can’t find enough glitches to point out. The fact is evident from the way folks are sharing the quotes from Joaquin Phoenix’s Oscars speech.

He was there advocating for things that need special mentions even in Oscars.

Indeed they were the quotable quotes.

Phoenix began his three minutes long speech on a humble note. He said, “God, I am full of so much gratitude right now and I don’t feel elevated above any of my fellow nominees or anyone in this room because we share the same love, the love of film and this form of expression has given me the most extraordinary life.

While being a voice for the voiceless Phoenix said, ” I had been thinking a lot about distressing issues that we are facing collectively and I think at times we feel or made to feel that we champion different causes. But for me I see commonality, I think whether we’re talking about gender equality about racism or queer rights or indigenous rights or animal rights, we’re talking about the fight against injustice. We are talking about the fight against the belief that one nation, one race, one gender or one species has the right to dominate, control and use and to exploit another with impunity.

Joaquin Phoenix’s acting won him award for the best, it was 1917 that won the best picture award.
