Malala Yousafzai To Study at Oxford

Malala Yousafzai is going to attend Oxford. The admission is confirmed after she got her A-Level results. She is a global celebrity known for her efforts to promote the education of women will become part of this prestigious institution. Malala has also won a Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts. She is also the youngest person to receive this award.

Malala Yousafzai Subjects at Oxford

Malala Yousafzai is going to study the subjects of Economics, Politics, and Philosophy. She would study at the Lady Margaret Hall. Malala Yousafzai said that she had got an offer letter from Oxford. In the letter, the institute wanted to admit her if she was able to secure three As. Her subjects will take her through the same curriculum that the Former PM of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto studied at Oxford.

  • She got 6A*s in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Religious Studies, and Mathematics at IGCSE.
  • She got 4As in English Language, Literature, History, and Geography.

The Principal of the University also welcomed Malala Yousafzai to the Institute.

Malala Yousafzai’s Struggles with Taliban

Malala Yousafzai narrowly escaped death when she was shot in the head by Pakistani Taliban in 2012. She had to be treated at the Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital and has made this city her home.

Malala says that she is excited to attend Oxford. She has also wished all the A-Level students the best for their future lives. On this occasion, her father said that his heart is filled with gratitude. Furthermore, he stated that he thanks, Allah. He stated that he is also grateful to those who support his daughter’s education cause. Malala Yousafzai also has the honor of addressing the United Nations for her cause of education.

Famous Alumni Taking PPE

Besides Benazir Bhutto, some famous alumni have studied these subjects at Oxford. Among these alumni include Aung San Suu Kyi of Burma, Ed Miliband of the Labour party, and UK’s former PM David Cameron.

The combination of PPE or Politics, Philosophy, and Economics is one of the most prestigious sets of courses offered to students. Malala Yousafzai has come a long way to become part of this course from struggling against the oppressive Pakistani Taliban.

Malala recently joined Twitter to openly share her opinions through the social media.
