Manchester United  has just announced that its manager Jose Mourinho has left the club with an immediate effect. Mourinho who guided united for almost two years lead his club to Europa League and League cup.

But, MUC is fairing poor in Premier League. MUC dropped to sixth position after its defeat at the hand of top team Liverpool , on Sunday.

A press release by Manchester United which is doing rounds on social media said, “Manchester United announces that Manager Jose Mourinho has left the club with immediate effect.”

It also informed that club will appoint a new caretaker manager at the end of the current season.

What Caused United to Sack Mourinho

Mourinho’s departure from United was a talk of the town from several months. Mainly, it was the club’s poor perfromance in Premier League that made him face criticism. But recently, it was his fall out with midflelder Paul Pogba after the Sunday match which is being attributed on social media as an immediate reason.

After the Sunday’s defeat if Manchester United, everyone was expecting this.

Earlier, it was in August when United’s loss of three first Premier League games followed by steamy press conference of its Mourinho gave rise to speculations that he was being sacked. But, later it was reported that Jose Mourinho still had a backing of its club.

There was a mixed reaction over Jose Mourinho’s leaving of United Club. Few fans were of opinion that Mourinho’ sacking will by no means by be able to drag United out of the mess. And, many were talking about his leaving and joining of other clubs like Chelsea. And, his ardent fans were hoping that he joins their favourite club as manager.

In fact Monday’s Twitter discussions simply revolved around Mourinho.

People were quick to point out that every Mourinho sack comes in December.
