Audi has launched its new Audi Q2. The idea is all set to compete with other brands with similar capability vehicles like BMW X1, Suzuki Vitara, Toyota C-HR, and Honda VR-V.
The Audi Q2 comes in three trims including Sport, SE, and S-Line.
The company prices the Audi Q2 in Pakistan at PKR 4.35 million.
Audi Q2 Engine and Performance
The car comes with three engine options including.
- 1.6-liter diesel engine (114 bhp)
- 1.4-liter petrol engine (148 bhp)
- 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine (114 bhp). The company is reportedly offering 1.0 TFSL variant for the Pakistani market.
The vehicle has a turbocharged engine with indirect intercooler and DOHC. Pakistani models of the Audi Q2 will not have any four-wheel drive.
The car features five driving modes including individual, comfort, efficiency, dynamic, and auto. By choosing between these different modes, you can alter settings for suspension, gear shifts, and steering.
Other performance features include the following.
- Engine power output at 85kW produces a torque of 200Nm with a displacement of 999cc.
- The car can reach top speeds of 197 kilometers per hour with an acceleration of 10.3 seconds for 0 to 10 kmph.
- Ground clearance of the vehicle is 15 cms.
Safety
Audi Q2 model in Pakistan comes with Pre-Sense Kit as standard. The Autonomous Emergency Braking applies brakes whenever it senses pedestrian in front of the car.

The interior of the vehicles features an infotainment system, buttons for different functions, and support for Android and Apple smartphones. The car also has a wide screen right in the middle of the dashboard.
The futuristic use of technology lets the driver customize the look and feel of the dash. The head-up display facilitates the driver in different driving conditions. The car’s trunk has Bang & Olufsen speakers to spice up your driving experience.
The car with a seating capacity of 5 offers a comfortable ride.
Sports model offers 17-inch wheels with same color bumpers and silver C-pillars. The sports model has notable features of the interior including Audi Connect, Sports Ears, Infotainment Extras, and high-end upholstery.
The S-Line model of the Q2 offers 18-inch wheels comes with Full LED lights and scrolling indicators. Other goodies include a panoramic sunroof, sports suspension, and leather seats with interior LED lights.
The Audi Q2 trunk carries 14.2 cubic feet of space for accommodating luggage.
Exterior
When it comes to Audi, every vehicle has its killer looks. Unlike the old Audi models, the company is now focusing on creating a different identity for each of its models.
Audi Q2 is a compact car and has lower ground clearance than the Q3 model.
The chamfered cut running from the stand to the end replaces the tornado lines. The new egg-shell inserts redefine the grill design philosophy of the Audi. The roof edge also has a spoiler to finish things off in style.
The front has full LED lights with power tailgate added as standard.
The Audi Q2 comes with 11 different color options for the D-pillar. You can also choose from five different rim designs and avail of other customization options.
