The Pakistan cricket team return home got a hero’s welcome. Hundreds of fans were waiting for the Pakistan cricket team after beating the rivals India in the finals. There were large crowds of fans on different airports of Pakistan.

The fans decorated the entire street as well as the house of team’s Captain, Sarfraz Ahmed. Sarfaraz Ahmed landed the Karachi Airport with fast bowler Ruman Raees early morning with ICC Champions Trophy.
The Crowd Going Crazy for a Glimpse of Their Cricketing Heroes
The crowds waited for the entire night to see their heroes. Some of the fans climbed their rooftops just get a sight of the captain. Some fans were even carrying their children on their shoulders to let them see the stars. The fans of the Pakistan team captain were also carrying a 70-feet long national flag. A special convoy of Sindh Government was carrying the flag.
Captain Sarfraz and Ruman Raees were given caps and Sindhi shawls. Fans took every opportunity to have selfies with their cricketing heroes. The crowd cheering for the captain raised the slogan “long live Sarfaraz.” A police band also played patriotic songs. On this occasion, Sarfraz thanked Allah for his success and was grateful for the nation’s prayers.
Sarfraz had to spend 30 minutes in the car from entering the street to going into his house because of the crowd. The captain showed the trophy on his balcony saying it belonged to the nation. After Pakistan cricket team return, Captain Sarfraz said that his team had created a legacy of winning the trophy as it was not easy, and it was not possible without a team effort.
Players Coming to Lahore Airport
Some players of the Pakistan cricket team went to the Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport. The player of the tournament Hasan Ali was accompanied by Ahmed Shehzad, Babar Azam, and Faheem Ashraf. Punjab’s provincial ministers gave bouquets to the team members. Hasan Ali took three wickets in the final to reach a total of 13 wickets.
Fakhar Zaman Lands in Peshawar
Similarly, Fakhar Zaman also received an overwhelming response from the crowd when landed in Peshawar. Fans gathered outside the Peshawar Airport to chant “Pakistan Zindabad.” The stylish left-hand batsmen from KPK said that the team had decided to go aggressively against India. He had planned to score a century in the final.
Players Touching Down in Islamabad
Similarly, the trio of Junaid Khan, Shadab Khan, and Imad Wasim touched down at the Islamabad Airport. The Islamabad Police gave the three players a guard of honor. On this occasion, Imad Wasim said that he wanted to play for the team. He also praised the skipper for his efforts towards the team.
