Sarfraz Ahmed and his team members were jubilant over the victory against one of the most difficult to beat oppositions in cricket.
Sarfraz Ahmed said that when his team arrived, no one was giving a chance to them to go any further in the tournament. Furthermore, he stated that they had entered as number 8 team in the ICC tournament but eventually won the tournament. The captain was happy that his boys had done a tremendous job. Sarfraz praised the young lot doing so well despite lacking the experience to play big games. He had words of praise for Fakhar Zaman, Hasan Ali, and Shadab.
On the question of dedicating the win, he said the journalists should avoid asking him that question. An earlier question of dedicating the win had landed him in a lot of trouble.
