Paul Pogba Faces Heat For Missing A Penalty

The 26-year-old football player Paul Pogba is under fire for missing a penalty in a recent match against the wolves while playing for Manchester united. The match had ended in a draw, so penalties were taken to decide the winner.

Paul Pogba Is Not The First

This isn’t the first time that a player, especially a black like Paul Pogba has become a victim of racism. Before him, other players like Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham and Reading’s Yakou Meite have faced a similar situation in which they were trolled in a racist manner on social media.

The racial trolling of Pogba began after the Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio managed to save a penalty kick taken by him in the second half of a premier league match between Manchester United and the Wolver Hampton Wanderers on Monday that ended at a draw.

The Manchester United, in response to the incident, said we would take strict action against anyone involved in any acts of racism against its players. We have a zero racism tolerance policy.

The Racist Comments Are Such A Disgrace

For a year it was thought that racism has formally ended in a game whose roots stretch back to the 12 century across multiple continents. To see that it is still prevalent in such a humble sport is a disgrace.

It was Marcus Rashford who was meant to take the penalty but instead he requested Paul to take it as he felt that he was better at taking a penalty kick. People are remembering Pogba actions in the following manner while he approached to kick the ball.
