Pakistanis Are Angry at Govt. for Likely Hike in Petrol Price

The recommendation by OGRA (Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority) to increase the oil prices has made Pakistanis furious. According to media reports, OGRA had recommended an increase of more than 14 Rs. on per liter price of oil and gas, which has been delayed following the public’s rage, reportedly.

Pakistanis Reacting to Increase in petrol Price

The new government led by Imran Khan for many Pakistanis was the best thing that ever happened to Pakistan. People expected from  Khan’s leadership to provide relief to the people and solve major problems that the country was facing.

After finance minister Assad Umar the rock star or the brand face of the PTI failed to control inflation rate the new government has been continuously gunned and scrutinized by opponent parties. Government failure to control inflation rates and increasing petrol price is a sign of sheer incompetence, opponents to demand the resignation of Imran Khan.

The sole reason many Pakistanis voted for Imran Khan was that they agreed with his vision of Naya corruption free Pakistan was to lead a better life and not vice versa. So they are criticizing their captain turned Prime minister, unlike other blind followers.

Well, some Pakistanis are also defending the new government because they felt that Pakistan was not the only country where there was a petrol price hike; other countries around the world were facing the same problem. They were hopeful for being better than most of the countries.
