The news of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas engagement is finally out and making headlines. Mesmerizing pictures of the happily engaged couple are now officially available.
Priyanka and Nick’s Engagement Announcement
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have officially announced their engagement in a traditional religious ceremony at the actress home in Mumbai, India. Chopra’s rumored boyfriend Nick Jonas came to India on 17 August 2018 along with his parents to ask the actress’ hand from her parents. Adorable pictures of the blushing bride-to-be from the Roka ceremony are spreading on social media. Close friends and family members attended the family. Nick was wearing a simple kurta-pajama while Chopra was wearing yellow shalwar kameez with white decorative features and white khusa. Her jewelry was though, simple but her 5-carat engagement ring was eye-catching.

The duo is expected to host a grand engagement party later this evening at a 5-star hotel. It is also reported that the couple has booked almost 200 rooms for the guests which mainly comprises top Bollywood stars and some out of city guests.
There are also reports that the newly engaged couple are going to keep their engagement short and marriage plans are moving quickly. The couple is expected to get married in October.
Resuming work commitments
Following the engagement, both stars will resume their work commitments normally. The duo will apart to opposite parts of the globe with Nick leaving back to America along with his parents and Priyanka getting back to her filming of The Sky Is Pink’.

Priyanka and Nick first met at Met Gala in 2017. The couple started dating in late spring 2018. Afterward, both have been meeting each other’s families from the past few months with Priyanka accompanying Nick to his cousin’s wedding and Nick touring India to meet Priyanka’s mother and family.
After Priyanka’s 36th birthday it was reported that Nick has proposed to her and they are engaged now. But none of them confirmed the news. Also a few days back, it was reported that the actress will be having a big party on 18 August, 2018 and has invited her close friends and family. It was expected that she might will make an official announcement of her engagement to the pop singer, which today comes true.
Earlier Dwayne Johnson also took credit of setting up celebrity couple if they were happy.
