Remembering the Forgotten Heroes of 9/11

September 11th, 2001 commonly known as 9/11 is said to be one of the darkest days in human history.

9/11 Back Story

According to military reports, 9/11 is considered one of the most organized and well-planned terror attacks in American history that left hundreds dead. On this day a series of planes got hijacked and crashed into World Trade Center. According to media reports, a total of four planes got hijacked. Two of the hijacked planes hit the world trade centers, which were considered the financial hubs of America. One hijacked plane hit the pentagon, others crashed into the woods near Washington DC after its passengers forced it into the ground.

A few minutes after the plane crashed into one of the twin towers, a no-fly zone was established, and security agencies increase their presence everywhere to fend off more attacks. Fire and rescue teams reached the affected areas and started rescue efforts.

An estimated 2500 if not more people lost their lives in total. The people who took part in the rescue operation especially those who took part in rescue operation conducted in NYC recall the horror they witnessed and remember their friends or fellow service members who lost their lives in those heroic acts.

People from all over the world are pouring in to show their respects for those rescue service members who lost their lives on that day or complication they developed as a result of the horrific scenes that unfolded on that day.

Unsung Heroes

And then there are those who went beyond their call of duty to preforms an act of heroism that cannot be described in words here’s one such hero
