Rishi Kapoor’s Death Intensifies Aura of Misery in Bollywood

The veteren actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on 30th April at the age of 67 in a Mumbai hospital. He was hospitalized on Wednesday due to deteriorating health. According to media reports, brother and actor, Randhir Kapoor notified the authorities about Rishi Kapoor’s death. He was battling cancer for more than two years that culminated in these horrific 24 hours.

2020 is beyond devastating. Bollywood was already drowning in the ocean of tears from Irrfan Khan’s demise and now Rishi Kapoor has also left. Many celebrities took to twitter to share their condolences on this grave loss of Indian cinema.

Big B Was The First To Announce Rishi Kapoor’s Death On Social Media

Amitabh Bachan was the first Bollywood celebrity to announce Rishi Kapoor’s death on social media. He was truly broken by the second massive jolt within 24 hours. For some reason his tweet was deleted a few minutes later. He mentioned about being “destroyed” by the news of Kapoor’s demise.

Many figures from different walks of life including pakistani celebrities expressed their grief and sent condolences to the family of the departed.
