Reportedly, the renowned Pakistani actress, Sajal Ali is about to be a part of a film produced by Jemima Goldsmith. People know Sajal from many Pakistani dramas including O Rangreza, Yakeen ka Safar, Gule-e-Rana, Chup Raho, and several other famous TV series. According to media reports, the popular actress will be seen with some globally admired faces including an Indian actress Shabana Azmi in the film.
Sajal Ali to Co-Star with Shabana Azmi and Asim Chauhdry
Although Now, Jemima Goldsmith confirmed that Sajal Ali is among the cast member of her new film, What’s Love Got To Do With It? She retweeted Baz Bamigboye’s tweet in which Ali’s name is mentioned alongside Shabana Azmi and several others. As per the tweet, the Pakistani actress is supposedly shooting in London for the upcoming movie.
What’s Love Got to Do with It is not the first international project of Sajal. The actor has previously worked in a Bollywood film Mom along with Sri Devi. In Pakistan, along with TV dramas, she has acted in the film Zindagi Kitni Haseen hai for which she was nominated as the best actor in the 16th Lux Style Awards.

Jemima Goldsmith is known for her work as a British producer. She is also recognized for producing documentaries including the series, The Clifton Affairs as well as many other pieces of her work. Her latest project is What’s Love Got To Do With It? Reportedly, the movie is about how love and marriage are two separate ideas and have no association.

Apart from Goldsmith who is producing and writing the film British-Pakistani comedian Asim Chauhdry is also part of the project.
The cast includes Emma Thompson, A fine comedian who is also considered to be a marvelous British actress, screenwriter, and author. Also, Lily James, who is also known by the name Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson is contributing her talents in the upcoming film. Another piece of surprise for the viewers is going to be Shazad Latif’s role in the movie as many know him from the BBC TV series, Spooks, Clem Fandango on Toast of London. Lastly, the director of the film, Shekhar Kapoor who is listed among one of the finest Bollywood directors is also behind the direction of What’s Love Got To Do With It?
According to BBC’s journalist, Haroon Rashid, Hamid Hussain who happens to be Ali’s agent confirmed the news as well as the names of popular personalities who are accompanying Sajal Ali in the coming movie.
