According to media reports, media person of MBS, Turki al Shabanah has told that reports of Muhmmad Bin Salman buying Manchester United are false. He further stated that MU held a meeting with PIF (Public Investment Fund Saudi for a sponsorship opportunity. But it has not reached any deal yet.
Man U will remain under the ownership of The Glazer family, who also owns of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Glazer family bought the Man U in 2005 with £790 when it was in depth and has no interest in selling the team.
It is to be noted that Manchester United that sacked its coach Jose Mourinho in December 2018 has not performed well in Premium League; a factor that might have given rise to speculations that owners might be interested in selling it.
