Funny Shah Mahmood Qureshi Memes Answer Media’s Reporting

The origin of Shah Mahmood Qureshi memes begins with his arrival at New York to attend the UNGA emergency meeting and discuss the Palestine and Hamas peace mission. During the interview with Bianna, the minister presented his views about how the aggression of Israel and its power over media has become a pain in the head for the people of Palestine. He stated that the connections have made Israel stronger. The anchor asked about the connections Qureshi had just mentioned. He laughed and said, “deep pockets” that make Israelis quite influential over media. They can control it and hence manipulate reality with their power. He explained how they get so much media coverage and deviate the world from knowing what’s really been happening on the grounds of terror. The CNN anchor then called his statement an anti-Semitic remark. Qureshi shed light on how the world has been aware of the situation. The citizen journalists have been posting pictures and videos to keep the public informed regarding the destruction caused by Israel and Palestine’s fight.

The interview encouraged memers as they started posting jokes and memes while quoting the chunks of conversation as their reference.

‘Deep Pockets’ Memers’ Most Liked Words of The Day

The Shah Mahmood Qureshi memes contest on social media started because of his comment ‘deep pockets’ followed by his laugh. The memers started to use it in different contexts. They related it with the interview of former finance minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar with BBC. That interview also provoked Ishaq Dar memes on the internet. Those who are in favor of what Qureshi stated during the interview, made fun of the anchor in the form of memes on the platform. In their view, Golodryga was expecting someone like Ishaq dar but Shah surprised her. Shah was like an out of syllabus question that Bianna wasn’t prepared for.

Absurd Argument from Western Media

For some Twitter scrollers, it was funny that the anchorperson had no arguments but to call Mahmood ‘anti-Semitic’ upon his views regarding Israel and US media. Their opinions were reflected in the Shah Mahmood memes as they found the western media’s prejudice thinking against those who stand with Palestine. They claimed that the minister was right and anchor couldn’t present any counter-arguments but to use a term pointing towards biasedness.

Shah Mahmood did not even mention Jews or anything relating to hate speech towards the community. He expresses his views and got bashed by the interviewer.
