What Is the Zoya Factor All About?

The movie’s plot revolves around a girl who ends up becoming the lucky charm for the Indian cricket team. Over time, people start worshipping and start calling her a goddess. She starts accompanying the team on every match. There comes the point where people are cheering and jeering for her. Here begins the moment when the demi-goddess tries to keep herself grounded.

Another interesting side of the story is this strange love-hate relationship she has with the Indian cricket team captain who doesn’t believe in luck and is a staunch supporter of hard work equal luck mantra.

Based on Book by Ahuja Chohan

The movie is based on a book written by a renounced Indian author Anuja Chauhan titled The Zoya Factor. Before becoming a full-time author, Anuja Chauhan was a vice-president and executive creative director in an advertising agency in India. Abhishek Sharma has directed the movie which is scripted by Anuja Chauhan in collaboration with Pradhuman Singh. The music has been directed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, and score by Vishal Chandrasekar.

Fans and Critics Response to Trailer

For some, the trailer was a very refreshing sight as most of the movie trailers being released are action-filled or have a deja vu type of a vibe to them that makes people annoying.

Where people called it a refreshing sight, some felt that the movie trailer was by far the worst trailer they had seen. They were left wondering if the film would be as bad.
