Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, 34 was found hanging in his apartment on 14th June. According to police reports, it was a suicide but no suicide note was recovered from the apartment. Recently his manager, Disha Salian was also reported to commit suicide by jumping from the 14th floor of a building.
The reason for both of these suicides is not known yer. However, many people might already have an idea given the sad history of suicides by many aspiring actors in Bollywood.
Sushant Singh Rajput Commits Suicide
Many artists in Bollywood have passed away this year like Rishi Kapoor, Wajid Khan, Nawab Bano AKA Nimmi, Irrfan Khan, and Basu Chatterjee.
The news of Sushant’s suicide was so shocking to his fans that some of them started to discuss the possible reason. His fans followed his career closely and shared some filthy faces of Bollywood from the past. These pieces of evidence suggest that Sushant Singh Rajput was suffering from depression and a change in attitude since long.
Is Bollywood A Toxic Workplace?
Before further discussing this suicide, it is important to understand the concept of insiders and outsiders in Bollywood. The insiders are mostly star kids (children of classic superstars) and privileged actors that get more opportunities than the outsiders; those who are self-struggling to become actors.
Sushant was never accepted with open arms, in fact he was an object for insiders to laugh at.
As it can be seen in this video, what Shahrukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor are doing is considered fun among Bollywood’s privileged.

People Criticizing Karan Johar And Alia Bhatt
Sushant’s fans have called out Karan Johar for constantly talking trash about Sushant Singh Rajput.
Apparently he had issues in his professional life which were ignored by the people who could have fixed them. Instead he was ridiculed and belittled at many occasions. It was also reported that Sushant developed an aggressive personality due to his treatment in Bollywood. However, his fans refute that by saying that few news agencies are deliberately printing rubbish against him to draw attention from real enablers of suicide that are deeply rooted inside Bollywood.
Director Karan Johar shared a decorated message for the deceased artist.
Fans of Sushant Singh Rajput did not fall for this message and still accused Johar for contributing to the actor’s depression. They bombarded this instagram post with replies that implicate Johar as a hypocrite.
People are feeling angry and not accepting Johar’s apology because they believe that Bollywood’s nepotism will not be over. They deemed the industry fake which deliberately pushes their own people in hopes of making a bit more money. They’ll probably earn less money by promoting young, new, and less popular actors.

Till now it is not known what was really bothering Sushant Singh Rajput that he took such extreme step but reports suggest that he was depressed and seeing therapist.
