On Thursday morning, thirty years-old singer Taylor Swift released a new single “The Man” leaving fans stunned over her transformation into a businessman. The singer announced about her video’s release by sharing teaser on Twitter.

Here is What The Man is All About?
Thanks to the wonderful makeup and CGI, the pop star is unrecognizable as she plays the role of man in this music video. She is transformed into a boss-type character, wearing a suit and tie who is nothing but rude to everyone around him.
In the first scene, “The Man” is a selfish boss who shouts at his employees and also congratulates on business development (passing resemblance to the actor Leonardo DiCaprio’s character in The Wolf of Wall Street).
“They’d say I hustled/Put in the work/They wouldn’t shake their heads and question how much of this I deserve,” she sings. “What I was wearing, if I was rude/Could all be separated from my good ideas and power moves.”
As video continues the Swift’s male character shows no respect for people around him and smokes cigars on the subway while spreading his legs wide open on the train. “And I’m so sick of them coming at me again / ‘Cause if I was a man, then I’d be the man.” In this scene, she points out the double standards of the world, that women often face. He (male character) earns the title of “World’s Greatest Dad” by simply spending time with a kid.
In her music video Taylor Swift has also hinted on Serena William who came under fire at the US Open in 2018 for slamming the racket down before a referee.
At the end of video character is given a voice of Dwayne Johnson “Hey, just checking,” asked the voice, “was that last take what we had in mind?” real-life Taylor Swift reply that “Pretty good — ah, could you try to be sexier, maybe more likable this time?”

Since Taylor Swift has a huge fan following of more than 85 million on Twitter, it was not surprising that her song broke the record of most viewed music video within 24 hours on YouTube in 2020. Well, this is not the first time Swift has made this achievement. In 2018 she was on a record-breaking spree when her songs were most watched and liked on music apps and social media.
And, this is Taylor Swift’s 10th video to achieve this milestone.
