The Lion King Trailer- Shahrukh Khan and Aryan Khan’s VoiceOver Nails It

The king of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan has teamed up to voice over for the character of Mufasa and Simba in the Lion King remake. Earlier The Lion King Trailer with Shahrukh Khan voiceover was released and it was an instant hit. Now the Simba version with Aryan Khan’s voice has come out and it has taken people by surprise; particularly due to the staunch similarity in father and son’s voice.

Here is how Simba the son of Mufasa speaks in the voice of Aryan Khan in this The Lion King Trailer.

A view at the YouTube comments section reveals that the fact that Aryan Khan’s voice resembles too much with Shahrukh Khan has taken everyone by surprise. Interestingly, fans are insisting to watch Aryan doing his debut after this performance. The reactions are quite contrary to Suhana Khan’s debut on Vogue India’s cover that had called for the backlash on nepotism.

There Were Other Speculations As Well

Folks are also drawing parallels with other work of Shahrukh Khan. As this Twitter user says that watching The Lion King trailer reminded her of Karun Arjun dialogues.

Is Shahrukh Khan the Right Choice for Mufasa?

While there are praises for Simba as Aryan Khan there is no lack of criticism on Shahrukh Khan. Not everyone thinks that SRK’s voice as Mufasa suits the character so well. In fact, fans are offering alternates like Amitabh Bachchan as Mufasa’s voice over.

Maybe Disney contacted SRK and his son as it might have contributed to the film’s promotion.

The Lion King is all set to hit the cinemas on 19 July 2019. Till now the fans had liked the trailer and there seems interested in watching this. Prior to this Disney’s The Jungle Book’s Hindi had done an outstanding business in India.

Earlier when the trailer of The Lion King was released fans had a mixed reaction as not everyone seemed to like it. Off course, the 90s nostalgia of also a factor. But, it seems that Hindi version has people’s hearts and Disney is going to make big from this film in India.

It is to be noted that The Lion King is not the only Disney film from the 90s. A live action remake of Aladdin has already been released in May and June. The Lion King is next in line that fans are passionately waiting.
