The United States is looking for ways to pressurize on North Korean Nuclear Program. The North Korean state media has warned the US of a “Super-Mighty Pre-Emptive Strike.”

Donald Trump took a hard stance on many international issues. North Korean Nuclear Program is one such issue where the US seems determined. Despite China’s warnings to North Korean not to proceed with its Nuclear Program and missile tests, it remains focused on its military ambitions.
North Korean Threats to Neighboring Nations
North Korea openly threatens many of its neighboring countries including Japan, South Korea, and the United States. The failed missile test did not deter the North Korean leadership from its objectives.
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson gave the US verdict of reviewing the ongoing situation, saying.
“We are reviewing all the status of North Korea, both regarding state sponsorship of terrorism as well as the other ways in which we can bring pressure on the regime in Pyongyang to re-engage with us, but re-engage with us on a different footing than past talks have been held.”
End of US Strategic Patience
During the recent times, US officials repeatedly used the term strategic patience.

“Allowing this dictator to have that kind of power is not something that civilized nations can allow to happen”.
He expressed hope of reduced tensions with North Korea by working with China. However, he said that it was not acceptable for North Korea to strike US allies with nuclear weapons.
Hence, North Korea warned the United States that it will attack the United States if provoked. The country claimed development of a missile capable of striking mainland US. However, Nuclear and Missile experts around the world believe that North Korea will need more time to reach that kind of capability.
A few days ago news outlets reported the United States sending an aircraft carrier group to Korean Peninsula.

Here is how “The Rodong Sinmun,” North Korea’s official newspaper put forth its government’s verdict.
“In the case of our super-mighty preemptive strike being launched, it will completely and immediately wipe out not only U.S. imperialists’ invasion forces in South Korea and its surrounding areas but the U.S. mainland and reduce them to ashes.”
