It seems that Indians whether common citizens or celebrities always remain in search of an opportunity to humiliate Pakistan and its leadership in one way or another. Recently, Indian cricketer, Virender Sehwag tweeted a video clip of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan where he was interviewed by a US news channel anchor Joe Scarborough.
In the tweet, Sehwag claimed that anchor called Imran Khan welder from the Bronx and used this phrase to troll the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Virender Sehwag Gets Trolled
Interestingly, another Indian cricketer Saurav Ganguly didn’t bother to check if Sehwag was right or not and immediately seconded him to add his share of stupidity and to criticize Imran Khan’s speech in UNGA.
Some sane Twitter users later pointed out that anchorperson said voter from the Bronx and not welder from the Bronx.
Even Anchor Person Admitted What He Said
After the anchor person in a tweet admitted that he meant voter and not the welder people started trolling Sehwag for his poor English.
It is a fact that when the purpose of criticism is to embarrass the opponent it just hits the person back. In this case, Sehwag who was apparently trying to look for an opportunity to slam Imran Khan after he highlighted Indian atrocities in Kashmir, didn’t even bother to pay attention to what the anchor was actually saying. Consequently, he ended up with humiliation only because of his prejudice and bias.
The cricketer who is often seeing peddling the BJP’s agenda faced heavy criticism also from Indians.
Even if the anchor used the world welder what was so wrong with it. Means these Indians will use anything to troll the Prime Minister of their neighboring country.
The problem with some so-called nationalists on both sides of the Indo-Pak border and perhaps most of the people is that they hear what they want to. the only thing they are interested in is one that works as an argument to put their opponents done. And, they so haste in the process of letting other down they don’t even bother to corroborate the fact or examine the very logic they are putting forward. Sadly, not only commoners but also celebrities are a victim of this disease that makes a person spread misinformation like cancer only because it suits their agenda.
