ICC (International Cricket Council) has just announced the names of cricketers who won awards in different categories. Many Pakistani cricketers have also won prominent accolades by the ICC. This time, young cricketers from the country succeeded in winning distinguished awards due to their outstanding performances.

Thanks to the PSL that emerging talent form Pakistan is getting recognition in national and international cricket. The year 2017 marked the glorious come back of international cricket in Pakistan by PSL 2. The country also won the ICC Champions Trophy in a thrilling final match against India.

Hasan Ali along with Babar Azam also made to ICC team of the year. He also won the ICC emerging player of the year award. Teen cricketer Shadab Khan who astonished the fans with his fantastic performance in ICC Champions Trophy and PSL (Pakistan Super League), got a nomination for the emerging player of the year.

Unfortunately, this year, Pakistani cricketers couldn’t make it to the ICC men’s test team. Last year ex- Pakistani captain Misbah ul Haq had won the spirit of the cricket award

Along with Pakistani cricketers, Indian cricketers also won in significant categories. Virat Kohli has won the cricketer of the year award; it seems that year 2017 has remained lucky for the cricketer. In the same year, he has also tied a knot with Anushka Sharma in a grand wedding of the year.

Australian batsman Steve Smith has won the ICC Test Cricketer of the year award.
