Cookbook By Meghan Markle
Meghan Markle has combined her love for cooking food and the philanthropic experience in writing the foreword for the publication – called Together: Our Community Cookbook. Duchess of Sussex helped these ladies get their cookbook published as well. Famous star of TV show Suits was seen with the protocol, but Prince Harry was not with her on this visit.
Foreword By Duchess Of Sussex
Meghan Markle was pleased to connect with the ladies at the community kitchen. She even wrote in her preface that how this whole interaction was fascinating for the Duchess of Suxxess. She also mentioned the emotions which she saw there, all those small smiles she enjoyed with Muslim community over there, were remarkably amazing and delighting for the beautiful Meghan Markle as she stated:
“I immediately felt connected to this community kitchen; it is a place for women to laugh, grieve, cry and cook together. Melding cultural identities under a shared roof, it creates a space to feel a sense of normalcy – in its simplest form, the universal need to connect, nurture, and commune through food, through crisis or joy – something we can all relate to…Through this charitable endeavour, the proceeds will allow the kitchen to thrive and keep the global spirit of community alive.”
Philanthropic Approach Of Meghan Before Her Marriage To Harry
This is not the first time Meghan Markle had visited this place, before her marriage with Prince Harry she visited several sites for recognizing the charity sector before getting married to Prince Harry and becoming the Duchess of Sussex. In February 2018 the news told that Meghan was paying secret visits to the victims of Grenfell Tower fire. She visited the Hub Community Kitchen in January 2018.
