Social Media Demands to Release the List of Ghislaine Maxwell Clients

British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for helping wealthy men abuse teenage girls. Maxwell was convicted in December 2021 of trafficking girls for her deceased boyfriend, Jeffery Epstein, to abuse. The American financier and convicted sex offender, Epstein was captured in 2019 on sex-trafficking charges. One month later, he took his own life inside the jail before the trial could begin. Maxwell was also put on suicide watch because of this, but her psychiatrist confirmed she was not suicidal. Judge Alison J. Nathan pronounced her actions “heinous and predatory” that deserved a “very significant” sentence. Besides jail time, she also fined Maxwell 750,000 USD. Many social media users applauded the verdict but also raised questions about the names of Ghislaine Maxwell clients. According to sexual abuse victims, the crime used to take place in Epstein’s estates in New York, Florida, New Mexico and the Virgin Islands.

Social Media Asks Arrest Ghislaine Maxwell Clients too

Several huge names like Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Prince Andrew, and Donald Trump have come up in connection to what went on inside the estates. This is why social media users have been aggressively demanding to reveal the names of Ghislaine Maxwell clients. Many demanded that the court must bring them to justice as well no matter how rich and powerful they were. It is because they were the ones who abused the girls, whereas Maxwell only facilitated the crime. People felt her sentence did not mean much for the law of justice if those abusers were still roaming free.

This Sentence is a Joke…or a Meme

One of the reasons why social media found the sentence against Maxwell funny was that only the supplier was caught while buyers were free. They believed capturing Epstein and Maxwell was not enough, saying that the authorities must also arrest the men who purchased underage girls from the couple and abused them. Logically, it was the most obvious thing for the law to do. This is why social media has been making dangerous assumptions, suggesting that by revealing the names of Ghislaine Maxwell clients, they would open a pandora’s box, which no one could close.

Victims Find Closure

4 victims of Epstein and Maxwell’s abuse were present in the court who refused to mention their real names. They recalled the pain they received from this “sex-trafficking ring” and stated that they found closure after Maxwell’s arrest. One of them, Jane, said that Maxwell was usually present while Epstein abused her and sometimes she also joined in the abuse. She said that she was 14 or 15 years old at the time.

Another victim, Kate, said that Maxwell introduced her to Epstein when she was 17. One night Maxwell called her to give Epstein a massage, which later turned sexual. This went on multiple times for the next few years. Carolyn, the third victim, told the court that she went to Epstein’s house more than 100 times between the age of 14 and 18. She also recalled a sexual encounter with Maxwell, saying she touched her inappropriately while she was naked. 4th victim also claimed that Maxwell gave her a nude massage when she was 16 years old.

In January 2022, a victim named Virginia Giuffre accused Maxwell of bringing her to Prince Andrew when she was 17. She said that Andrew, who was reportedly one of Ghislaine Maxwell clients, sexually assaulted her 3 times in 2 years.
