Nobel Peace Prize winner and Women’s Rights activist, Malala Yousafzai has been married at her home in Birmingham, UK. As soon as the 24-year-old activist announced the news on social media, thousands started digging to learn who was the Malala Yousafzai Husband, Asser. The newlywed bride had asked her followers for prayers and wishes.
Malala, who was shot in the head by the Taliban in Pakistan at the age of 15, shared the pictures from nikkah ceremony with her groom. The wedding event was not grand and only involved close families. She and her partner were excited to walk together for the journey ahead.
Malala Yousafzai Husband Works for Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)
The name of Malala Yousafzai Husband is Asser Malik. He is currently working in Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as General Manager High Performance. He went to Atchison College and graduated with Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics and Political Science from LUMS (Lahore University of Management Sciences).
While Malik was in college, he was a member of Atchison’s Football and Hockey teams. He was also the President of Dramaline in LUMS. He had organized and performed in theatre at multiple British institutes to raise funds and awareness for flood and acid burnt victims. Malik was also the organizer behind Pakistan Dramafest 2011.
Malik also worked as an Operations Manager in Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans and designed its player development program.
