Pakistani drama actor Ushna Shah has announced her engagement to Austrian Pakistani golfer Hamza Amin. Shah took to Instagram and shared a picture of her fiance with a loving caption saying, “Meet my missing puzzle piece, Hamza Amin, Munda Sohna Vee Eh Teh Changa Vee (the guy is pretty and a gentleman), Bismillah Kariye! (let’s do it)”. The post has received more than 200,000 likes. The engagement ceremony was reportedly intimate and only included close friends and family.
The announcement was followed by congratulatory wishes from the rest of the entertainment fraternity. The comment section has been filled with heart emojis by fans and celebrities. Saboor Aly, Usman Mukhtar, Minal Khan, Aima Baig, Ayeza Khan, Sana Javed, Sarah Khan, Zara Noor Abbas, Ali Rehman Khan, and many others wished the couple the best for the future.
Who is Hamza Amin?
According to reports, Hamza Amin was a long-term boyfriend of Ushna Shah. The actor has been hinting at this union for quite some time. Hamza also appeared in some of Shah’s Instagram posts. He is the son of Taimur Hassan Amin, a former golfer and Chairman of the Asia Pacific Golf Federation. The 35-year-old athlete has represented Pakistan on a global scale many times. Hamza also represented Austria at European Team Championships in 2011 in Portugal.
Having been introduced to the game by his father, Hamza started playing golf when he was only 10 years old. He turned professional in 2008 and has been winning several local and international tournaments since then. He has 5 professional wins and ranks 6 on Top Ten Mena Tour. The prodigy also won the Austrian National Open in 2018. He has also served as a member of the Asian Tour from 2014 to 2020.
Apart from golf, he is also known for philanthropic work. He has worked with many charity organizations to raise funds for kids’ schools and hospitals in Pakistan. Many consider him an inspiration for young aspiring golfers in the South Asian country.
