London Nahi Jaunga Movie Gets Trolled for its Title

The newly released poster of the upcoming Pakistani film, London Nahi Jaunga has been making rounds on social media. The movie has a star cast including Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat, and Kubra Khan. Humayun’s previous movies Punjab Nahi Jaungi, and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 1 & 2 made huge business at the box office. The same is expected with this movie but viewers cannot help but troll the actor for his choice of film’s name and its poster.

The film is set to release on Eid-ul-Adha alongside Quaid-E-Azam Zindabad and Hollywood’s spectacle Thor: Love and Thunder. During the time when Pakistani artists asked the cinemagoers to support local movies, people opted to have a meme fest on this one. They argued if the local content was “like this” then they were better off watching Hollywood movies.

Playing with Title of London Nahi Jaunga

Many did not buy into the hype of London Nhi Jaunga and made fun of its noncreative title. The literal meaning of the phrase is “I will not go to London” which people have recreated in their own ways. Someone said if superstar Humayun didn’t want to go to London then he should sponsor a fellow citizen instead.

The over-the-top poster mixed up with such a title was a bit hilarious. The main character was seen sitting on a horse in a style popularized by the likes of Shaan or Sultan Rahi in epic Punjabi films. It gave fans all the more reason to troll Humayun for London Nahi Jaunga. Many made him realize that he won’t be able to travel nearly 7000 nautical miles via horse anyway.

Title Ideas for Next Movie

Pakistani movies and their meme-worthy names have not only frustrated the public but made them give creative advice to the film’s crew. They figured out that Humayun Saeed and the team had some fascination with the names that indicated “not doing anything”. So, viewers shared some funny examples for the name of their next movie.

Funny Poster Memes

Despite so many movies coming soon to the multiplex, Pakistani cannot forget the political upheaval in the country. As the poster showed a common villager refusing to go to London, some highlighted rich politicians who don’t like to leave London unless they are in power in Pakistan.
