Ali Zafar Announces The Release of PSL 2018 Anthem

Another PSL season is just approaching with the arrival of spring. Fans are passionately waiting for the PSL 2018 anthem, before the stage for Pakistan’s famous sporting event is finally set.

Now the wait is over, and here comes news about the release of the anthem.

PSL 2018 Anthem

The actor and singer, Ali Zafar announced the release of PSL 2018 anthem on his official Facebook page. In his post, Ali Zafar said, ‘Doston… it is that special time of the year again! Where cricket, passion, patriotism, and Pakistan truly shine.

He also announced the name of the anthem by saying, “Chalo Phir #DilSeJanLagaDe.

Last year, the official song of PSL 2, titled as Ab Khel Jamey Ga had received massive applause from the fans. The lyrics of the theme song aptly explained the enthusiasm, liveliness and sports spirit of the event. Now, when PSL 2018 anthem is all set to release on Sunday, 27 January, fans are passionately waiting for how its music and lyrics would invigorate that thrill.

PSL 2018 Season

PSL 2018 will Kickstart on 22 February, with an opening ceremony in UAE. The event will last on 25 March and continue for one whole month. Six teams will participate in PSL 2018 that would overall constitutes 34 matches.

Last two seasons of PSL 2 have remained a huge success. They have not only helped to bring back the international cricket in Pakistan but also introduced the fresh talent to the country’s team. Consequently, Pakistan won the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. The event also gave exposure to the most exceptional players like Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi and many others.

Young cricketers like Hasan Ali and Babar Azam also made to the ICC Team of the year.

Cricket is as significant to Pakistan as football to most of the South American countries. It is not only a game but a binding factor that keeps the nation of 200 million people united.
