Britney Spears has married her fiancé Sam Asghari, 7 months after gaining freedom from a 13-year-long guardianship arrangement. The pop star told the court last year that she could not marry and have kids due to this conservatorship, which ended in November. The singer was finally free to marry her long-time partner in an intimate ceremony. However, someone from outside was planning to crash Britney Spears wedding. It was none other than Britney’s ex-husband Jason Alexander, who rudely interrupted the proceedings.
Jason Alexander Tries to Crash Britney Spears Wedding on Live Stream
As Britney was getting married to Asghari, Jason Alexander was arrested trying to invade her 7.4 million USD Los Angeles estate. He was also live-streaming the whole scene where he was seen running around asking, “Where’s Britney”. The video also showed him telling the security guard he was invited. He went further toward the wedding, saying, “Here’s the inside scoop on the bullshit wedding”. It can be seen that he shook hands with other guests and kept telling everyone he was Britney’s ex-husband.
He eventually got into a physical confrontation, after which the police were called. During the investigation, officers also found an outstanding warrant against Alexander from another jurisdiction, so they arrested him. However, it is unclear whether the estate would file trespassing charges.
Marriage that Lasted Less than 55 Hours
Britney Spears marriage to her childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004 ended within 3 days. Singer’s lawyers immediately filed for an annulment after Britney returned from a wild night out in Las Vegas, where she married Alexander. The petition said that Britney “lacked understanding of her actions” and was “incapable of agreeing” to the marriage.
The marriage was later annulled, with Alexander speaking about their marriage as “it was just crazy, man”, “We looked at each other and said let’s do something crazy”, and “let’s get married, just for the hell of it”.
