Well, Priyanka’s exit from Bharat has become a matter of heated debate in India. People are wondering if it was Jonas or some other factor that made Priyanka quit the movie.
Why Did Priyanka Leave Bharat
Speculations began when the director of Bharat, Ali Abbas Zafar announced in a tweet about Priyanka’s exit from the film due to some special reason.

Fans applauded Ali Abbas Zafar’s careful use of the words and his phrase “Nick of time” that alluded to Priyanka and Jonas relationship.
After this, rumors followed that Priyanka got engaged to Nick some days ago, or they were going to marry soon. Apart from all those speculations, a controversy surged on whether it was a possible marriage with Nick Jonas that made Priyanka leave Bharat or it was something else?
It Was Not Because of Nick Jonas
Later emerged the reports that it would be silly to suggest that Priyanka’s exit from Bharat The Film was due to her expected marriage. The actress who is an icon of women empowerment is not much likely to make career-related decisions due to such reasons. According to an NDTV report, the actress had reportedly asked for a double-digit figure, but she was being paid almost half of it. Further, there was last minutes addition to the film’s cast that might have prompted Priyanka Chopra to leave Bharat.
Producers Upset with Priyanka’s Decision
According to the media reports, producers were upset with Priyanka’s sudden exit. Film’s producer Nikhil Namit termed the actress’ attitude rather unprofessional as she suddenly left the film. The reports also emerged that Salman Khan was also upset with Priyanka’s exit. But, the actor’s father Salim Khan refuted those reports.
Later, Ali Abbas Zafar also tweeted about announcing the new lead actress for Bharat soon.

According to the latest reports, Katrina Kaif will play a lead role in the film against Salman Khan. The duo also appeared in Tiger Zinda Hai which was one of the highest grossing Bollywood films of 2017.
