Zayn Malik Records his First Bollywood Song in Full Hindi

British Pakistani singer Zayn Malik steps into Bollywood by recording his first song for a film in full Hindi.

In an interview with an Indian fashion magazine, Ellie India Zayn Malik said, “It’s one of the first songs, I’hv sung in full Hindi, so it’s going to be cool to see what the response to that is.”

The singer has ruled the hearts of music fans while being the lead vocalist for British band one direction. Further reports suggest that singer has got a good start for stepping into Bollywood.

Zayn Malik’s Collaboration with A.R Rehman

While talking about plans for singing Urdu songs, Zayn said, “There’s a lot of Urdu; some nice qawwali sounds. There might even be some bhangra vibes. I have worked with AR. Rehman on one song.”

Well, it would be a surprise for Zayn Malik’s fans from Indo-Pak to see him collaborating with the legendary musician AR Rehman.

The singer already enjoys a significant fan following in sub-continent. But singing in Urdu might help him to target a vast audience. Till now, Zayn has not revealed the name of the film for which he has sung the first Hindi song. So, a surprise is awaiting the fans ahead.

Last year, Zayn Malik’s selfie with Shahrukh Khan had become viral on Twitter. In his interview with the Indian fashion magazine, the British Pakistani singer also talked about how different he thought of SRK before meeting him.

“I personally was not a huge fan until I met him. I realized how humble he is. Really showed a different side to him. He always came across as slightly arrogant in the movies to me, but when I met him in real life, he was so nice. He just completely changed my opinion of him”.

Shahrukh Khan’s film Zero with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif is likely to release in 2018. But, we can’t tell if Zayn has sung for this movie for some other Bollywood project.

Since the edition of Ellie India that featured Zayn Malik on its cover came into the limelight; there is enormous talk about Zayn’s taste of Indian food Indian music and Indian movies. While speaking to his Bollywood preferences Zayn told fashion magazine’s editor that he was a fan of Shahrukh Khan, and he also made his girlfriend Gigi Hadid, who is a fashion model, to watch Devdas.
