Indians Trolling Shahrukh Khan on Twitter
Several Indian social media users lost their mind over news that SRK’s cousin Noor Jahan will contest the elections from Pakistan and labeled the superstar of Bollywood as traitor and terrorist. While, the actor who is busy in the filming of his movie zero where he is playing a dwarf, may not even have an idea of what is going around.

I know SRK has reason to love Pakistan…He should contest there too…

https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsPeople are lashing out at SRK because he is putting family before the nation. Well, they have not explained how his cousin contesting elections in Pakistan is a question mark on his being nationalist and patriotic or confirms him to be a traitor.
Family before nation..no wonder the charity shows are done for every natural disaster in Pakistan, never India by SRK https://t.co/uT839wNUd4

https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsThis is not the all, the critics came up with more examples from the past of Shahrukh Khan that prove him to be a definite traitor.

Backlash to Trolls
The issue of Shahrukh Khan’s cousin Noor Jahan contesting elections in Pakistan became a topic of heated debate among the Indian Twitter users. No doubts, that many absurd arguments were moved forward by social media brigade to exploit SRK’s cousin’s contesting of elections to level the charges of treason against the superstar. But, people were quick to respond to this absurdity.
Here is how some sensible social media users responded to the hate mongers.
So what’s your question?@iamsrk is human first and that’s his cousin. My question is Is he campaigning for her or using his power of celebrity status to help her? No.Most Indians and Pakistani hv families both side of the border. Again..stop spreading hate!

So now its Shah Rukh Khans fault that his cousin h-is fighting elections in Pakistan?
Come on guys and have some shame.
Obviously, you guys have nothing else to do.
If you have guts than stop corrupt politicians fighting election in India other wise wear bangles and keep quiet.— Pankaj Kumar (@Getreal1991) 11 June 2018
https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsAnd, this one makes sense. Is the superstar responsible for all those actions that his cousin or any member of the extended family does in Pakistan?
The agenda is that what happened at the stadium happened in India,so @iamsrk is free to comment as it happened to him. On the other hand his cousin contesting election in her country is not his problem. Can he stop her because she is related to him? Should she be stopped? No..

https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsPolitical Background of Noor Jahan
Shahrukh Khan’s paternal family in Peshawar has a history of involvement in political movements. According to media reports the family including SRK’s father was a part of Khudai Khidmatgar Movement that was run by Pakhtoon nationalist leader Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, popularly known as Bacha Khan.
It is reported that earlier Ms. Jahan had also contested on women reserved seats on the party ticket of National Awami Party, on the women’s reserved seat, but she couldn’t succeed. Hence, this time she has decided to contest as an independent candidate. Her brother Mansoor is leading her campaign.
